2) A plastic container with lots of apartments to hold all these stuff in

Tioman Diving trip

everyone has a to do list before they die... i have a to do list before i get married..ahahah.. and one of the things to do is to do diving... had always wanted to dive since sec school day but never got around doing it.
When dear got to hearing it, he decided to act on it and booked us lessons and a dive trip to Tioman with Sunny Cove Diving school.
Pool training was done in a sec sch's swimming pool and though i was apprehensive at first, i found the training real fun...
Then comes the real thing,we set off on Fri and took a day to reach Tioman.. once we reach tioman,our rooms were not ready and our diving instructor told us "lets go for our first dive first!" wah... so sudden.... quite scared.
at the first dive, we were taught how to descent.. so funny.. our instructors tied a rope on the sea floor and we were holding on to it and he signalled to us to follow him when all of us were on the floor...
what happened next was super funny: once we let go of the rope, we all found ourselves floating up to the surface! so funny. all of us din not wear enough weights! ahahahah... that was our first dive and i cut my leg on the dead coral...
2nd, 3rd & 4th dive were all dives with drills and it was quite fun, though tiring cos of the air tank that we have to carry in and out..super heavy sia...
5th dive was our graduation dive.. a totally leisure dive...need not think about pivot fins and stuff like that.
We called our instructor the " turtle man" cos he says he always see turtles wan.. but the other instructors say not easy to see.. but every dive we saw turtles! ahahahha...

All in all, it was a real exciting trip... finally got to do what i always wanted to do and got dear to accompany me.
diving is real fun but its real tiring! the going in and coming back on the boat after every trip made me real exhausted... i din get the " i must do it again soon" feeling at all. neither did dear. ahahahah.... but overall, it was a fun trip and i got to do it with dear.. Kisses,

Oh my goddness...what ever is happening to CSI? It was an accident that i managed to catch the last episode of CSI: Las Vegas Season 8. my mouth fell open when at the last part,. someone shot Warrick and left him for dead! og my goddness! when i was screaming for my sister to come watch this, she told me that she knew that the character who acted as Warrick was leaving the show in a matter of fact manner!!!oh my goddnesss.... i was shocked beyond measure! the original team is falling apart! why does CBI want to break up such a successful team???
First Sara, then Warrick! and when i went to research on the spoilers, they are bringing in another ger to replace Warrick!no more eye candy.....

Golf Lessons

Due to dear's occupation and his colleagues, there was a need to learn and play golf...and so his company actualy subsided his golf lessons and i get to join as well.. no subsidy but much cheaper than if signed up myself. my mum told me once that if dear took up golf, i better too, cannot become a golf widow.. hahaah...
Golf lesson 1 was abit awkward as we had a briefing with all his colleagues and after the briefing, all gathered to watch us have our first lesson. but it was fun!
our instructor was a real professional and can just swing a club and the bal flies 200m at least!!!
After golf leson 1, we were so entu that we decided to practise before golf lesson 2. so on sunday we went to hit some balls. 60 of them....

Fish Spa

So on our anniversary, i decided to bring dear there for a "fishy" experience.
The shop is at people's park and with vague directions from my fren (we din not even know its name!), managed to find the shop though its was quite a ordinary shop...
There was no one there (No wonder my fren say no need to make reservation!) and when we stepped in, i got a shock la. the fishes were damn big compared to the tiny ones we saw at Kenko!!!

I could not put my whole feet in for the first 10 mins!it was super ticklish la.... yes, those black dots are the fishes! eww.w.. could only put my heel in first.. just as well that my heels were really bad and needed more help : )

Hahahah. dear is more brave than me. his whole feet is totally submerged in the water while mine still hovers above...
Finally my feet goes in!
at the end of 30 mins, my feet was noticeably smoother and free of dead skin! its even better than a pedicure..

Went to watch Made of honour, after recommendations from friends who say that it was nice and funny. Since its wedding related, i thought that it can give me some ideas for my own. yes, i am consumed by wedding thoughts... i am a bridezilla! ahahahahah

Sex and the city Movie Rocks!!
i love the movie sia.... there were so many ups and downs and i was bawling like a baby in one scene and laughing the next min! i love the emotion rush.. whee.....
i think the show struck me as it involved wedding preparations..heheheeh
Shoes, fashion, girl friends, "Colouring"(U have to watch the show to know what it is) ...whats not there for a girl to like?Dear liked it too.... hehehehe...
i rem saying before that for a movie to be rated excellent to me, its that it leaves its imprint on me and i leave the cinema with a wow expression and i keep thinking about it. this movie totally did that for me..

Recently i have been craving for Calbee-Hot & Spicy Potato Chips! Frankly, i have never eaten this brand before until a few weeks ago, my colleague introduced this to us for tea time snack and ever since, i have cravings for them sia...
So one night.. after dinner at Dear's parents shop, i had the craving for the potato chips while walking over to Dear's house. briefly mentioned it to dear and he asked me to buy but i tried to resist the temptation....
At the house, i started singing the Calbee potato chips advertisement as the tune keeps ringing in my head....And Dear kept asking me to go bathe! i wanted to watch a tv show but he keep asking me to bathe and i keep telling him " later" hahaahah.. din suspect anything cos he always does this to me.hahaahhaah
So finally i went to bathe... and then when i came out and walked into dear's room, i realised that a packet was sitting on the table!!!Awwww..... dear went downstairs to buy a packet for me..! i so happy, not becos of i get to eat potato chips but that my dear is so sweet and attentive to my needs... i felt so loved and pampered...
Couldnt resist the temptation-Gobbled all up!

300 Fishes!

My mum is into fishes and my uncle kindly "donated" a fishpond to her after he moved house.
Fishes have come and go and somehow, we just cant get them to give birth to more or live longer... hahha...
Dear bought 10 guppies and all died in a matter of 5 days! All thanks to these fish below *angry*
Tiger Bulbs! Super fierce fishes that definitely cannot live with Guppies...
So what started out as a simple task of taking out the dead guppies became a full blown project of cleaning out the whole fish tank, transferring of all the old fishes to another tank and Scrubbing the rocks and putting in new water...hahahaah...
Not wanting to spend too much on fishes that can die anytime, we took a ride to Pasir Ris Farmway as my uncle told us that he bought his fishes there at a much cheaper price. so off we went!
First stop- Couldnt find cheap fish. the guppies cost $1 each! same retail price.
Second Stop- Found several stores at a stretch. Initally wanted to buy Koi, but the saleslady told us that they can grow very big, so ditched the idea. Guppies were cheaper but no colour... not attractive and suddenly i saw big bags lying carelessly on the floor and i can see that there were alot of fishes in it. Went to inspect and realise that the bag contains red fishes! Got Colour and there were ...get this.... 300 inside!! Wow.. definitely can fill my tank and alot of fishes make it more lively!!hahhaahaha... checked the price with the store owner and get this!! Only$10!!! Super Cheap!! its only 33 cents for each.. and even if half die next week, i still have 150 left.. more than enough.. so happy and immediately bought them home to their new house.. ahahahha
So far, the dead count is 3.... : (
300 Fishes in the bag.. mummy asked if i am sure if there are 300 there.. but i wouldnt go and count.. would you?

Went there to eat dinner with Dear after my bintan trip.Luckily, we reached there at about 6 plus and was able to get a seat fairly quickly. After our dinner, when we walked out, we realised that there was a super long queue outside!!
But frankly speaking, cant see what is the hype about. Yes, it is fairly innovative to have a japanese food bazaar and the food quality was quite good. i walked away fairly disaapointed.Contradicting huh?
Here s what i ate.
Chicken and Mushroom Pasta Soup- Tasty soup, however its real expensive for such a simple dish about 8 dollars!
Unagi Eel rice- Rice fairly tasty but eel pieces was so small- maybe's that why its one of the cheapest stuff- $3.80
We had grilled chicken, salmon belly, seafood soup and red bean with Mochi as well.

8 Year Anniversary

wow...8 years liao...we have come a long way since 15th May 2000.
From JC til working adults...it s a journey with dear and though we have our ups and downs, we have come out stronger together...
We celebrated our anniversary on the Singapore flyer... dear think i dun rem this, but i rem dear telling me before that his company was planning to bring his clients to the singapore flyer and i rem complaining to him that i wanted to be the first that he brings up to the flyer.After that, i forgot about it...
and then... suddenly one day dear presented me with the tickets to take the flyer for our anniversary... so sweet right?
So after a homecooked dinner with mum, we set out at about 7 plus to the flyer. never did we expect that it was so crowded! we forgot that it was a public holiday! haahahah...had to queue to get onto the flyer. luckily, had dear to accompany.
The ride was 30 min and we took it at 9 pm so we saw glittering lights. it was pretty but after a while, we got bored of the scenary and in the end took alot of couple photos...

Been busy updating our wedding blog and have no interest in updating this blog... hahaha...
Daddy left for his secondment in Shanghai last tues and as he s going for a long haul, took time off to send him off at the airport. My sister who just fin her exam also booked her grad trip to Melbourne and was to fly off that day as well so it was killing 2 birds with one stone!
Before that, we surprised dad with an extended family dinner at "Hooked on Heads" at Sin Ming Plaza that served one of the beter Fish Head curries i have eaten for a long time... The cousins and us also made me a scrapbook to bring along to shanghai. can see that daddy was real touched that everyone made the effort to attend the dinner and can see that why he was the god father to all the cousins....
realised that my family has become the jetsetter family.. its always one family member overseas starting from june onwards!
everyone except me will be going up to shanghai in June!!i will be the driver to bring them to the airport and off to work i go. i am looking to go up with dear in Oct but plane tickets are real ex to go shanghai. a 6 hour flight costs about 1k!! phew!
Blur Sotong Sister forgot to apply for Visa to enter Australia!!! Luckily she could do so in the airport otherwise she had to go home and forget all about the trip. she said her tan left her face when she heard the staff ask for her visa.. ahahahah
My dearest mummy would be holding the fort alone in Spore and i really admire that...
On to other stuff, managed to eat Hog's Breath Cafe yesterday. the prime rib is to die for!! melts in your mouth and dessert,apple crumble was the best! big portions man.... i had to share the dessert with dear and we both felt so full!

We even started a wedding blog so as not to bore you all with wedding preparations details on our individual blogs. Here's the link:http://likearose.weddingannouncer.com. Details are still being put in so bear with us.Quick update: Wedding preparations are going fine and family and frens are amazed at our speed we are moving.. Even we are surprised at how fast we are booking stuff but it cannot be helped. Here we are thinking that we have all the time in the world, and we realised that couples are booking stuff for 09 too. If we want to have our pick, we have to start now... not that i mind anyway, its quite exciting thinking and planning the wedding with dear...
Aside from wedding preparations, we are busy with our lose weight programmes and just spending time together.
Have been going running with dear... slow and easy jogs to start off first.Even thought of joining the gym but it costs too much. most prob would use Chuan Park's gym first. If i see results then i will move to the professional gym... not much time left though! Today saw Jade running around her estate and it set me thinking: I dun have much time. Hope i can see results soon !
Went to watch 3 Kingdom starring Andy Lau, Sammo Hung and Maggie Q today.Actually, i was not too keen on watching it after hearing that it was about chinese history. i thought i would fall asleep during the show.. surprisingly, i did not! The show is quite interesting and i was riveted... especially with Andy Lau!!!!He is forever young man...when a 50 year old man acts as a young punk and makes me believe that he is a youing punk, that is acting man!
Dear was quite indignant when he overhear some army guys say they were there for Maggie Q. " She was not even pretty in the show!" that s what he said.. ahahaha... They gave Andy Lau for the gers (Vaness Wu is no where in his league), must give a bit of eye candy for the guys mah... but she was so bundled up, no flesh was shown so that great body is totally hidden. too bad for the guys! Was not very productive for us as we already booked our studio and most vendors were bridal studios... blah..
i think we went just for the bridal show but tat too was a disappointment.
All gowns were from a same designer and all designs were almost the same and that very same day, i received the news that i cannot wear tube gowns cos of the scars of my chest.it doesnt help that most wedding dresses are all in tubes nowadays. i am quite worried about my gown selection but worrying wouldnt help anyway.
Luckily for me, dear was real comforting and my mood lifted considerably...

i noticed that all the dresses i kindof liked were on the same ger... dunno whether is the gown pretty or the ger made it pretty hahahahah....
