i went for my event yesterday, the event that i assist in setting up. for a hapzard and hurried setting up, it went pretty well. the kids were happy. the parents were proud. i am relieved hahaha.. my aunt is treating us to hairy crabs in appreciation for our help yum.. talking about my events, my dad gave me a fright the day before when he sudeenly asked me to go and register a company under my name to do events management. that reason? he went to see my aunt and my aunt said that she has connections to a certain person who does alot of events, so if i could set up the company i can get the lobangs. it seems like my dad is more into the idea than me. i thought about it, this cant go long term as there are so many like companies in the market liao. me a small fry must kao the lobangs to survive. i mean it could be something on the side line to get more money but not for long term.dunnow how to break this to him...
i went for my part time trainer position last evening. what am i supposed to do? teach kids how to bake cookies, make chocolate and coca cola... its supposedly a scientific thing for kids to do experiments and learn in the process. i am earning $12 an hour, however its only 3 hours a day, therefore $36 a day. however it s better than nothing, at least can earn some money to spend in taipei or taiwan...
speaking of my trips, i am so excited.. preparations are underway. being an occasional virgo(pple know that in normal instances, i do not behave like a typical virgo) have done research on taipei and what to do there... by reading other's pple blogs if they have been there... interesting information found. the taipei trip was supposedly to be with my family and special someone, but due to some cork up that ended with my family not being able to get the tickets, they are not going. so its just me and my special someone..hahaha..lucky concidence or fate? This is going to be my first trip overseas with him with my parents' blessings... i am so excited. taipei is the first place that we will really have to depend on each other to survive.. i already told him liao, that i am going to take a lot of photos! so cool right? i just managed to book my hotel through other pple's recommendation, rainbow hotel, one of the cheapest and in Xi Men Ding itself. excited man.. the thailand trip is up to my sister to plan, cant concentrate on both.
my special someone is in the midst of exams now, but he is always at my house. not that i made him,but he is so sweet to come here and accompany me and study.hope that he can get good grades then i wun feel guilty.*grins* but being the smart guy he is, hes sure to make it. i believe in him.. yesterday the event he was a big contribution to it. me being the microsoft office bimbo, could not get the powerpoint presentation going. he, being a dear came down after his exams to help me to fix it. what my sister say is true:"Jie Jie, i dun think you can do without him" which could be a good or bad thing.. i mean my frens would agree that i do not do anything without him or that i would tell him everything. i have to agree with them that it may seem extreme, but thats my way of being in a relationship. that are different kinds of relationship. there are some who do not meet everyday, some who believe in keeping their own money separate, some believe in not telling everything to their partners, some who ar ei a relationship but do not think twice of having affairs etc.. there are different pple to make the world go round. as for my way of loving him, as long as he appreciates and returns it, i am very happy already. ya i agree that we are still young and should have a life. yup i do have a life, only that he consists a big part of it. thank you very much...ok too much gushing liao.. basically just very happy with the level of where we are standing in the relationship.
Speaking of relationships, my fren and her bf got a car! honda accord, the first couple to own something so big with both their money combined.. hahaha... glad for them that they made the commitment, more likely my fren finally allowed her bf to buy the car... so now i am waiting for the red bomb which she said maybe rom next year.. so excited. she is my closest fren and i want to be the jie mei... i already have dibs of being the god ma of her first baby! abit fast hor? Hahahahah...
We were having dinner at hougand mall last week, and we got around to guys, marriage, kids etc. we all are 23 and already working, in between jobs(Me) and one studying for her bar exam, as we talked we realised that alot of our age pple are getting married at about 24-25. looks like our generation is the generation that is getting married early... my turn? haaahah.... wait a while longer then..no red bombs at the moment.
ok this is a long post. will talk about my life til here.. Cheers to another week of slacking! Kisses,
