earned $72 dollars so far

At 1:16 PM on Thursday, November 24, 2005

i finished 2 training sessions with kids liao..earn 36 x 2 =72 dollars to spend in Taiwan or basically to keep me afloat til i find my next job. now i know money is so important to survive and also to see who lives comfortably and who must think twice before buying something.when i was working, i did not hesitate to buy a 89 dollar wallet, and now i am scrimping every dollar i can. i foresee that i will be spending alot of money in taiwan and thailand, therefore it s more of a campiagn to see how much moeny i can save. nope, its definitely not a good feeling to have. who doesnt wan to feel and be rich? not to give a thought in spending 89 dollars on a purse blah blah...this is the drive that makes me wake up in the morning and face kids for 3 hours and to save every penny.

the training sessions so far were ok. the first one was terrifying at first as i did not know what to expect. i was imagining all kinds of scenarios... but it turned out pretty ok. guess i am a worry wart. the kids were pretty nice and it turned out quite fun to see their reactions when the candy burnt and when the syrup became lollipops. the second sessions was maths, i had noly three stduents who were below p1, how could i teach them times table and divide? i did the changes in my brains and came up with easier questions and numbers. hope they had enuff fun to prevent their parents from complaining...heee... made a blooper on the first day though, i was supposed to collect $5 from each kid for materials fees, however the CC told me that they collected it and in the end, they only collected the basic fee and not the material fee. i had 4 kids that did not pay up. therefore i think that might have to come out from my pocket. Conclusion: i think it went pretty ok so far, kids were tolerable and i earned 72 dollars..!

had a quarrel with my sister 2 nights ago. not fun belch... still not really talking.... enuff said..

just realised that i will be going to taiwan in 2 weeks time.. so excited. cant wait actually to see what the adventure with just the two of us turn out to be. cant wait to eat all that food we heard about and the shopping that i can manage. after that, its off to thailand! drink tom yum soup! yum... cant wait and after that it will be xmas.. and then its time for me to find a job to continuing surviving...will update photos after the trip for your viewing pleasures...

Kisses,
