BP is fun! this time, it was not so much of lazing around and waiting for time to pass. i was brought up to their office and made to do admin.. had to call pple to come down this thrus and fri, which would be a real busy day. and to do excel spreadsheets for my supervisor. heng heng, its just basic wan, otherwise i would be so screwed...the pple there are so nice and friendly.. i like them alot. i even introduced one of them to my massage and she took up a package!too bad, BP requirements for staff are really high and i dun think i can get a place there inregardless of how much i beg.. the pple they chose to come down for their first round of interview9Which by the way is a test) are all first class, second upper undergraduates. you tell me where got chance?? they dun even consider pple like me... sob... ahahah...understandably la, the energy market is so volantile, place in my hands.. i think its not that a great idea myself too ..yeah...
Read today's news about the army tightening up on their guys dodging army.. what do you think of this? if you are a girl, would you consider going out with a guy, who tells you" hm..ya...i did not go army cos i.. was scared of hardship" would you?? do you think that he would be man enuff to protect you next time? would you look at him with jaded eyes? if you were a guy who is thinking of dodging, can u imagine when you are with a bunch of guys next time, and they ask you where dd you serve your army(All guys conversations would turn to this some how, someway), how are you going to reply? think about it before you dodge NS...as the defence minister said, 700,000 men served NS, WHY SHOULD YOU BE AN EXCEPTION? Blah...i am all for the fining and jailing of these pple. i even read in the forum today that a guy wants to renouce his singapore citizenship at 21 and stay in USA,and wants to be exempted from NS cos he says that if ever USA and Spore go to war, USA would have someone trained in singapore warfare.. what the?? Spore should just kick him out now... waste our education, our resources on him, ungrateful *** he is...as a ger, of course i would not understand what the guys undergo in army, i know at that time, dear was always so tired and he got so skinny, but i know its for his good and our country's good. after army, dear would always talk about what he undergone in army and i can see that he feels proud of his achievement. Army is the place that changed my dear from a guy to a man...Gers should be proud of their man... despite all that waiting and loneliness during that period..hahaha..I always thought that army would be the biggest obstacle that a couple would ever face, boy was i wrong! it should be the working phase that is the biggest.. Army at least you know where he is, and knows that he cant do wrong in that place he is.. On weekends, he treats you like a queen as he is so appreciative of you waiting for him for a week... *grins*
Those in army, bear with it, after all you were brave enuff to take up the courage and smart enuff to know that its better to serve 2 years than dodge s'pore authorities for the rest of your life. You are man enuff and i salute you for that....
Ok, on to other stuff.. job searching wise. not too smooth.. its has been 2 months liao... would not look too good on my resume but hell, i am trying!damn... its getting harder man.. why would no one want me? i am willing to learn, i believe that i have iniatitive, i am friendly and easy to get along with, why would no one want me??? sigh...
Better news, rem the grad photo i took like.. last year? Well, it is now ready for collection but not all, my individual photos are not ready yet, but the family portrait one is. will collect it just in time for chinese new year.. they took like 2 months..wonder what the comments will be like..will take a photo for you all and show you..
Chinese new year is in 2 weeks time. dun really feel the atmosphere.. ya.. the old routine of finding new clothes is getting real dreary.. dun feel the spirit at all. am i getting old??NO,dun answer that! Kisses,
