today was my interview with ST Microelectronics.. as usual blur karen mistook the interview time as 11am instead of 10am. you can imagine my panic and horror when i found out tha ti was late! i hope there would not be a black mark against me. my interview was 1 1/2 hours! Do you think that i stand a chance? i heard that the longer the interview, the better chance. i do hope that i am shortlisted for the position just for the reason that it is so damn near my house. I can actually walk there! i met up with the person who is going to be my supervisor.She looks the mild type but i feel quite cmfortable with her.. She told me that this position is to do recruitment for systems analysts, which i have never done before, and the candidates are on the mature side.dunno whether can handle or not.. then there is not much training. she told me only like 1- 2 hours for training! how to learn everything in that 2 hours??? somemore, there is no benefits and is on a contract for only 3 months. they cannot assure a perm or an extension..still debating on it.. but on the other hand, whether the company wans me is another thing!haha.. say until like i got the job like that. too thick skinned liao. they would only get back tomorrow or thurs.. *keeping my fingers crossed*
Last day at BP. Did the final touch ups for my supervisor..she taught me how to do excel charts.hahaha stupid Karen dunnow how to use Excel charts... how computer idiot am i? Karen learns something new today.. Worked til about 7pm, and had dinner alone at pastamania and went rushing to Kumon where i am working ad hoc temp, reached there only at 8pm. my dear was already hard at work.. hahaha finished around 9 plus. placed our events company's advertisment at Kumon. hope that it would generate the start of our business.
