yet another rainy day! drama in the morning! i was awakened with my mum coming into my room and saying that Dash my dog has run out! that stupid dog could not wake for his walk in th morning(Spoilt by my dad) and jumped on his gate so hard that the gate opened. My mum was fetching my youngest sista to school and the big gate was open and he just ran out. i heard his incessant baking and whining when half asleep, when it stopped, i thought my mum had let him out, that stupid bugger did it himself. anyway, teeth not brushed, hair in a terrible mess i ran out of the house with its leash trying to find him. when i thought he was like gallvanting the other streets, i heard a bark that is too recognisable! later i heard that my mum and my neighbour's maid who were outside recognised it too! anyway, that idiot of a dog was a few houses away, his attention caught by one of my neighbour's dogs. if not, i dunno where he would have run too. that dog caused me a beautiful morning's sleep wasted....argh....

Anyway,went out to eat yesterday. had a delicious meal of fish noodles, mee goreng and chicken.. alot hor for two of us? but we finished it! think most of our money go into food.... after eating, in the car, we were deciding where to go as it was stil early around 7 plus. guess what? we stayed in the car at least for 1/2 hour, wondering where to go! thats when i discovered that Singapore has nothing much to do!every place we thought of had the been there, done that feel! what can a ger do in singapore besides, shopping, watching movies, clubbing & eating? we even went to the extent of taking a street directory and opening to any page to go.. but when we saw the place to go, we were bored.. anyway, in the end we ended up at Ang Mo Kio as it was near and we just wanted a walk. we spend quite alot of time in Popular! I think Singapore, in order to attract its tourists should keep on injecting new life and activities in, i mean if i was a tourist who been here before, and went to the zoo and all the other normal stuff, why would u waste money coming back?i checked singapore events calendar, not much stuff to do... maybe i got too much time on my hands..hmm....

Oh ya, yesterday i baked cookies!chocolate chip ones too! nag, just helping my mum. she is baking the new year goodies in preparation for chinese new year. my mum said a few days ago that she did not realise that chinese new year was creeping up on her.She said that it did not have the atmosphere like before. guess why? She could not smell any baking..ha..thats her clue that chinese new year is coming. anyway when she realised that it was like end of this month. she started taking out the mixer, the flour and choco chips and we knew what was coming. she is like making millions of them so dear & i helped out..my dear was so sweet to help out without asking. i rem making these cookies in JC and selling them with my swim team to raise funds. we named then Aishiteru cookies in view of the v day. I rem that it was Dear who thought of the name! oh ya, it was the first time he met my parents when the team came over to bake the cookies. I was not with Dear yet.. still fren only.hahaha.. those were the times....

Talking about these cookies, i hear the mixer in the kitchen looks like my mum is on a roll! better go help out..
