yuck yuck yuck, i corked up..totally... at an interview... yesterday Adecco pple called me to ask me if i am interested in being an events planner for a conference company. i told them to send my resume in and it was arranged for an interview this morning at 1130am. because it rained and still is, the sky was still dark at 10am when i woke up. stepped into the freezing shower and started the beautifying karen routine. mum drove me to bishan for me to catch a train(Thanks Mum) and i caught a mrt to Raffles place. everywhere is raining! luckily i brought an umbrella. got lost in shenton way and reached there 5 mins late. during the interview, i think i talked too hurriedly and fast. corked up alot of times.. the interviewer ask quite a lot of questions focusing on customer service and stree level.. sigh.. think i messed it up there too.. guess what during the interview i realised that there is an inconsistency in my resume and the interviewer caught that too. can see from her face that she is not impressed b y me at all. blah..lousy performance by Karen Tay... blah x 100 times... the job? to liase with hotels to get the best rates for them, a deskbound job and required to negiotate over the phone for the best rates. its an entry level job and from what i heard, they are willing to pay $2000. $2000 is the thing that its flashing right at me right now, imagine what i can do with that money... *ponders*
However, i cannot let this $2000 get in the way of rational thinking. shenton way is super out of the way for me, food there is expensive, the job itself is just like a coordinator... hmmmm..
While i ponder, i guess the company has already thrown my resume out of the window.. hahah... lets see what feedback they have to give about me..
Still raining... i think its the 4th day already. seems to me like if we just close our eyes abit more, it can be snow....
Mum still on the roll of baking cookies.. dun think she is going to stop anytime soon..
blah.. still thinking of how bad the interview went. going to snuggle in my bed with a trashy novel.. ahahha.. i went to the library yesterday and borrowed 32 books! how hardcore is that?
