just watched the "Da Vinci Code" movie at Suntec. Had to write my thoughts down before i forget about it. With all the hype, with my church's priests asking us to to boycott the show, i thought that the content of the movie was something so disturbing and would be something that would shake the core of my faith.But after sitting through 2 1/2 hours of the show, i came out with the thought that it is just a show, purely fiction. Nothing that made me think otherwise of my faith, nothing that shook me to the core and made me wonder why am i a catholic. In fact, i smile in bemusement when Dan Brown, in the movie said that Jesus was married to Mary Magdelene and had a girl. I was glad that i was not taken in by the hype and not get swept up by the public's excitement and the buzz.It is jst a show to me. Had no energy to really discuss it with Dear, it being a monday.Cant wait for Friday man. Still got X Men and Cars and Click to go!
