Well, another eventful week.. abit slow at first but ended with me breathless.One of our managers passed away this week, and the whole HR Department was thrown into a frezy as we had to comfort the family, scramble to come up with a bulletin to the whole company to stop speculation, come up with figures for insurance payout. we even had a death checklist to follow through,that s what i call procedures man.Whoever could be so clam and reasonable in the event of death to come up with a check list of things is beyond me but i sure salute the person who is the calm of the storm! This week, was hectic cos my boss was on medical leave for like 3 days and there was a crisis that a manager that my boss serve, wanted to offer 8, let me repeat that, 8 offers letters out by the next day.Offer letters needed to be drafted out, signed by two managers and then be offered by my boss to the candidate. all in a day?!come on man!HR does not like just sit there and wait for this stuff to drop from the sky and then say Yes Sir, we will do it for you cos we got nothing to do. we have plenty to do man... and then my boss fell sick and could not come down to offer it and we are all just stuck in the rut..
Anyway, some good came out of it. my boss smsed me and asked me to go home and i have been working too hard. At least my boss can see it... ahahaahha.... he is a good boss to me la... still learning alot of value added skills and i think i can develop alot of skills....

Speaking about bosses, my adecco general manager is pregnant with her 3rd kid.How i know? i met up with my adecco people,and we really had a blast that day, remembering all the good memories, that even brought candice to tears. during that, i saw that i was not the only one who missed the good old days.Even Management in Adecco said that they missed the old team... Carine said that if management says that, shows that we acheived something liao.From a team that no one knew, til a team that everyone can see our team chemistry is an achievement that we can be proud of, and i really think that it is real true.After i left, The team fell apart, even the old team had some tension among themselves and i could really see that some were left disappointed and hurt of how things turn up. but i swear that i will keep this old adecco team spirit alive. even outside adecco, we must continue making good memories for ourselves.
