Karen is succumbing to Burn out!hahahah... falling sick soon. have a sore throat and for the past days felt like i had a fever and was hot and cold together. last week was really working to the bone.. real tired cant wait for my senior to come back next week. one CRM Assistant is really not enuff.there are too many things to do for one person.Our dept got in a contract staff for 2 months. i m not the newbie anymore but damn malu cos her computer skills better than me lor... hahah so pai say. junior teach senior. i think she lost respect for me there and then, but heck my style works for me.. hahahaha.. we had to get her in cos my junior CRM cannot cope liao. too many things to do for a lone person and shes pregnant somemore! so that ger is supposed to assist her. so i assist my JT lao ban and my senior to UD lao ban and she for Mich's backup which i think is so much better cos i coordinate interviews for all of them til sometimes i get confused.hahha.... too many liao la.the bank expanding like crazy liao....
Talking about banks expanding, my grp of contract staff got smaller by 2, cos two of them left liao for greener pastures. sure will miss that grp. had alot of things to bitch about..hahahaha....
The ones who are left are sometimes wonder if we wait too long would we miss the boat. i was wondering to myself as well, if my contract ends in Oct, and they dun wan me. i would be left stranded and that period is not a good period to be left out of a job cos its the end of the yr so its going to be sway if i dun continue in UBS. hopefully, my boss still appreciates me then and still fight for me to be perm!hahaahahh... so far i really like working for him as he is more of the marco type of boss and dun criticise me for the small details unlike some bosses... and he really opened alot of opportunites for me, like talking to all the big bosses in UBS cos he s in charge of the most important sector of UBS that is Markets and i am like speaking to like the heads of departments and the branch manager can even recognise me. so i m pretty pleased with what i am learning here. i am learning how to present myself and learn how to talk like one of them.. really you can differentiate managers and employees, they just have a "say" abt them which i must learn. And he brings me into meetings that he think i will benefit, like next week, he s bringing me into a meeting with MAS.cool sia? Ministry leh...heheheh... and hes a supernetworker and i must learn from him. He has earned my respect and i am sure glad that he is my direct boss and he s guiding me... thats why i am willing to stay under him for a while more, nevertheless that the banking industry is super hot now and there are alot of jobs out there. i just read the classifieds today and there is a whole section of banking jobs... ya. should just learn whatever transferable skills i have here first.

met up with my old frens this week and we sure had a lot to catch up with... sometimes when you grow older. problems come along that you never thought that would happen to you.Geri, its really your decision so i will support you in whatever decision you make. Hope i was not too frank that day and our frienship is strong enuff to take such strong feedback..
