Last night, i went with my colleagues to eat dinner at East Coast Jumbo Rest. it was a big affair, eating crabs, lobster and bamboo clams, etc. UBS treated us, the support staff in appreciation of winning the Work excellence award. So we had a budget of $1100 to spend. The dinner was about $500 plus and we were supposed to go bowling after that, but after a long walk after our dinner, we had no energy to bowl.. we are old!No more late nights, no more havoc ness left in our bodies. so we all went back but nevertheless we had a good time.... catching up with each other outside work environment. actually we started late cos of me!hahahaha.... at 5,30pm my boss asked me to go into a telephone conference with him and big boss.. hahahaha all the support staff were looking with disbelief when i went into the boss room but i am glad i did cos i got to hear how bosses talk. it s a totally different than how we talk.. i must really learn how they speak.. its with poise and confidence and with no grammer mistakes ahahahaha....
I heard my senior say that there would be two new additions to the team. all reporting to my boss assisting with his population so that he would not be so occupied... So i have no idea how does that work out for myself. does that mean i have to help all 3? i will suffer from burn out.. hahahah.... i dunno la.. its a real bad feeling that i am having now. i mean they just came out with 2 perm headcount just like that.. how abt the support staff? Dun they value us too????>?????
Not feeling too good and no one understands why i am so uptight about this cos they are not in my shoes. i feel alone in this... Kisses,
