Birthday

Just celebrated my 24th birthday yesterday.Do you realised that as years go by, birthdays hold less excitement already?Anyway, i was pretty touched and surprised at the number of birthday Sms es i got yesterday from frens and relatives wishing me happy birthday. i am touched cos they still rem the day and took the time out of their lives to wish me. Embarassed that i forgot theirs and since i lost my hp previously, had to ask time and time again who they were... To all who remembered, thank you so much!

I had dinner with dear, which he planned. He did not tell me where we were going and it s was only he was driving through Tanjong Pagar and a comment he made about " Breezy" did i get it. We went to Mount Faber, one of the cozy cafes on the hill. Dinner was good, and the pictures should say a thousand words...


Dear was so sweet to send flowers to my work place that got all the gers wowing over them..



My office pple say that he's a keeper and i agree! Thank you dear for spending my birthday with me and organising everything. Sorry that we did not go settler's cafe, but i promise you that we will soon!

Another sweet thing is that my office pple pooled their money in to get me a gift as well. they bought a heart shaped swaroski collar pin and they put much thought into it. i only know these pple for a few months and they touched me with their sincerity.


Another surprise is that my boss gave me flowers too for my birthday....



So anyone going past my place could see my flowers.....
i had my talk with my boss and there are some changes to my conversion. i will only be converted with effect of 1st October, will get one month's salary for completion contract, no salary increment for now, as he forgot that if he increases it now, he cant do so during Dec's core process. he did say he would wan to increase my salary in december which is only 2 months away, so i dun mind waiting, besides the $2500 completion payment more than made up for the loss of increment for the next 2 months.
During the talk, he gave quite alot of positive feedback about me and said that he would want to groom me into a Client Relationship Manager in the next 12-24 months.he says that i have the confidence to be a manager, which is good. He and i discussed on how should i present myself from now on to the business. I sure am glad that i got a caucasian for a boss, i can see his sincerity in wanting to groom me, and i wun let him or myself down. So i have alot going on for me in the next few years...which i am happy. now that my career is sort of settled, i can start thinking of my future..
