Got my bonus figures and a salary increase starting from 1st March.Yup our bank has given out the bonus figures on the 25th Jan. pretty happy with the bonus amount as its more than i expected, now thinking should i do lasik or save the moola.My sisters are trying to dissuade mme from lasik and ask me to spend the money on clothes, but hello, a cow can get more clothes than me now. feel fat and lousy. The salary increase is "nothing to be excited about", quoted from my boss's mouth, but from a $1600 - to where i am earning now, its a big jump so i am pretty comfortable with it as well. My boss got promoted to a executive director as well, and i am pretty happy for him, even though there are some gossip going around saying that he did not deserve it. i felt that its unfair since he singlehandly brought in the target number of client advisors this year.yes, he might not be a person who pays attention to the small details, which we are now paying dearly for it cos HR is being audited, but i felt that he was involved in too many things til he have no time to pay attention to the small things as there were more urgent things for him to think about.

Besides my boss who got promoted, my senior's lady boss got promoted too, to a director post, which is kind of expected as after her, everyone was hired in as a director rank, HK HR has to promote her to keep her.
The sad thing is that HK HR rejected a promotion of our senior non officer to a associate director,which is a real sad thing as she has taken on associate director duties last year and not recognised. Somemore she was pregnant while doing it!She worked her guts for it la... my senior and i were looking to see how HK HR will treat her to assess our career development. looks like 5 years is not enough to be promoted to a associate director.


Talking about audit, it really came at the wrong time, we have to get the core process out by 29th and the audit ready by 1st feb which means we have to run both process together at the same time, which really is a mad rush. Tomorrow, its the roll out of core process and the start of seriously looking at the audit items.

Been working real late these few days, even stayed til 2am on Fri, and had to come back on sat til about 5pm.Hopefully nothing corks ups on Monday,otherwise heads would roll....not enough sleep... I am praying that this only happens during core process.

So thats my core process journey, something that happens once a year... i do not want to do and see a line manager pack for the next 11 months!

Going to Bangkok next week sun.... an offsite with the whole department... have to watch my mouth and actions there, HK HR will be there.... *eerie music starts to play*
