Just like that, the 4 days of holidays just whizzed by like that, back at work but went through chinese new year sick. my sore throat is still hurting me, finished my anti biotics but it seems to be getting worse. today my voice sound so nasal.. ahahaha...

Family politics came out in full play on the 2nd day of chinese new year, parents were shouting at each other and the skeletons came out of our closet.Aint pretty..involved tears and fake smiles... i tell you... every year is like that, damn sian already, but the show had to go on...Noone ever tells you that you dun only marry the son, you marry the entire family and its closet of skeletons! I bet if women knew this before, population growth would have been lesser known.Seriously, if my mum did not have in law problems, i wouldnt be so wary now with my own relationship. If you have seen your parents becoming less loving, more cold shouldering,More shouting and more tears, you know that in laws problems can be one to make or break the couple.,therefore i am always worried that my prospective in laws problems, whether they like me or not, whether they still think i m a ang moh ger who eats western fod every meal, and do i know how to use chopsticks. i mean its partially my fault that my chinese sucks and i cant realy communicate real well and always get dear to explain for me.But dear has always been patient and understnding and he knows that this is a problem for me and he reassures me that it will not be like that... we will see..... hee....

Lets get back to the festive mood shall we?
Found myself not too excited about ang baos this year, like some relatives forgot(Or on purpose!)to give me ang bao, i dun kick up a big fuss and think what the hell? now i am more laid back, maybe cos these money are extra to me i guess.I guess that this is how you feel when you work and earn your own money.
But my bosses gave us ang baos today, and my guy boss gave me a super big ang bao! He gave me...get this $310! Super big right???? i was shocked when i got it.He gave my senior $110... Its real big for an ang bao.... super happy hee.... the 10 dollar, he said must have in the ang bao so that would be lucky cos of the colour red.... he s even more traditional than us la. went to cut hair spent fri and sat cleaning his house. hahaha.... Bear in mind, my boss is british....

Show you a picture of the big ang bao!Even the packet is nice.... A hint of the money inside...

Not many questions about when am i getting married,hahahaha... lucky us. Dear's brother is the defense line for us, but cute thing is that Dear's mum ask him to go buy the flat.. hahahaha.... But dear's defence line is "not working yet, never know what will happen in the future"hmmmm. what is tat supposed to mean??
FOund time on the 3rd day of chinese new year to watch a movie with my close fren and bf.. and to have supper at liang seah street. If you ever need to watch a show on public holidays, stay clear of town and head for shaw tower.Ya, the cinema has the old school smell, but is cheaper and way much easier to get a ticket at 6.30 when your show is at 730pm..
Went to watch "the Protege", just Ok show, not say real fanastic or a total flop.. which is sad cos i haven watch a realll good movie that keep me up all night thinking about it. But Daniel Wu and Andy Lau are totally eye candy.. guys can take the drugs plot, gers are just there for eye candy... Andy Lau is classic, he can never go out of style...

Dear is going for interviews and assessment tests. He is on the ball for a job and i am real proud to see him so eager and hope that god looks down on him and give him a good one... i remember the feeling as well eager to find a job before my exams end,now it looks like i got to head back to schoolsville to upgrade myself in time to come.Well, hope it goes well for him.
Ok, will stop here, its an outdated entry about chinese new year...

Kisses,
fifteenmay
