Jade's wedding was on the 15th Sept and i am only uploading the pics today, 3-4 weeks after the wedding..hahaha way behind my posts. : )
Did not take many photos as we arrived late for the ROM ceremony.... heee... luckily we were not the last to arrive and the minister was late too. They chose the garden ceremon and initially we thought that we will all be standing in the muddy grass in high heels, but its actually a gazebo tent outside the ROM Premises..which they decorated it with chinese traditional wall stands and garden seats. overall, quite nicely done. think the tent is a permanent fixture so that more pple can get married..
Luckily this is not my first rom ceremony i have been to, and i know to xpect that the ceremony would only take at most half an hour. Though there was a sound system in the tent, the minister did not use it and we couldnt hear a thing at all. only when they stood to face each other, we realised that it was already half through! After the ceremony, we stood around to take pics and delayed the next cople from coming in for their ceremony!haahahah.Coupled by Jade's niece and nephews running about, it was pretty hard to follow the ceremony.
Anyway, did not get a chance to take a couple photo with dear.... damn.Anyway, here are the photos we took.
Shot with the happy bride..Mrs Tan
Frens of the bride.
Mr tan signing his life away.. ahahahah kidding... after the ceremony he seemed so pleased with himself...
The kiss that we made them go on and on as we wanted the perfect shot
Frens since sec school, i know i am the fattest among all, but look at them.. they are all skin and bones. how can i compare to them? But i will try to go down...in time for my own wedding ahahahah!
Overall, i am real happy and pleased that Jade found her Mr right and started the ball rolling. also serves to remind us that we are growing up...sigh, we are in our mid twenties liao, no longer can say early twenties. where did time fly to?

After witnessing a rom ceremony, i am sure glad that i will be marrying dear in a church ceremony. it seems more symbolic and more meaningful. the whole mass service is for the happy couple and it becomes the sacrament of marriage.Imagine walking down the aisle with daddy, knowing that dear is at the front of the church waiting for me... the whole church concentrating on me....thats the kind of wedding i want.Well, different pple have different ideas.
I will be attending my first fren's wedding dinner this nov and dear has started already. looks like these 2 years would be attending fren's wedding.. cant wait!
