Its double celebrations this week as we celebrate dear's birthday and confirmation at work! 4th Dec was double celebrations day! Anyway, thought that the end of 6 month's probation was something to be celebrated about, so i secretly sent a poted plant to Dear's office.Nearly had a heart attack when it did not reach at 5pm cos i knew dear was going home on the dot, but Far east flora delvered on time.. when dear was in the toilet! So it made quite a stir at the reception before dear came back.Well glad dear was touched and liked it.

After work, we went for his birthday celebration.as Dear was recovering from his flu, i wanted to bring him for some chinese food that can nourish his soul. Wsa thinking of soup restaurant but its was like in suntec la... abit boring so after reading blog recommendations, i made a reservation for Asia Grand Restaurant at Odeon Towers. Apparently their peking duck is to die for..

Well, it is. Dear and i had one whole duck to ourselves...

Mind you, this is only one plate. we had at least 5 plates...

Cod Fish braised i think, taste not bad but not good for dear's throat

The rest of the duck, we opt to have it in noodle, not too nice though

Wasabi prawns-This was good! But we were too full to really enjoy..

We were so full that we could not eat their dessert...

Gave dear his first present at the restaurant.Dear looking concentrated on opening his present.

Bought him a pair of heart shaped cuff links to add to his collection.Wanted something that looks less serioud than the ones he has.

Also bought for him the vcd that he wanted, the end of a trilogy that he was watching earlier. Here goes the huayu pinyin of the show: Se Diao Yin Xiong Zhuang.. i think so bah...

timing just nice as well cos he finished watching the previous 2 and had nothing to watch.

when my friends heard of all the preparations and presents i bought for dear, they say i spoil him and am amazed to hear that i am willing to spend all this money on dear.

But i always feels that spending money on my loved ones are worth it. Its worth to see them smile or be surprised when you whip out another present when they least expect so. I know that Dear will do the same for me as well, so it makes everything worth it...
