Chinese new year was less extreme than last year's.. no tears or outright quarrels within my family. was more restrained in a way but relatives who have absolutely no sense of EQ, or manners always show their ugly sides during this period. This year's ang bao got quite alot. my office alone received about $700, all thanks to my two ang moh bosses.. i got $500 from my american ex boss and $150 from my english boss.... they are real nice and they actually personally came down to the 2nd floor (i moved down from the 10th a month ago) to give me the ang bao. my english boss came down before he went japan to pass it to me.. i was real touched that they did not forget me...
All the ang bao money goes to our diving trip that we planned for june.. yup, one thing i always wanted to do and my wish is going to be granted! : )
Speaking of trips, i am going to San Francisco USA in march!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love USA!!!! I am going with my family and unfortunately dear cannot come with us.. though its only 7 days... but its USA!! Ross, dress for less here i come!!Yippe... i am still wearing what i bought there 4 years ago..Cant wait man.. 3 more weeks...
Valentine's day... the few times i see so many couples in city hall sia... every couple was linking hands, happy grins, coy smiles and flower bouquets everywhere... lucky me and dear celebrated earlier and din not have to fight for a couple's table on that day... hehehe...Ta bao chicken rice and went back to his house to look through the hotels' quotation for the wedding dinner... shortlisted 3 or 4 and would be going down in the next -3 weeks to look at the ball rooms...
Jade is getting married in may so i might need to postpone mine to 1-2 months later....
