Our big date was to start at 8am....
With breakfast at my favourite prawn noodle shop!
After which, we headed out to Location A- once dear turned towards the prk, i knew where we were going! We went going to Punggol Marina club for boating trip! Dear was surprised that i manged to guess it....
The last time we came here was 7 years ago for our first boat trip. we are back! Dear took his boating licence 7 years ago and took me out for a ride then for our first v day together... for our 7 th year v day, we are back full circle..

with the captain of the boat so apt, what can the first hand mate do? rest and relax!
with clear blue sky, off we go!
With beautiful scenary, the wind blowing through our hair and being all alone with dear in the vast sea,wat else can a ger wish for?
After 2 hours of boating, we decided to have fish soup for lunch as dear wasnt feeling too well and prefer someting soupy..
Saw someting that got us excited... the license plate of the car in front of us was our special nos!
After that, we got onto the car and dear told me to close my eyes all the way to location B, which was in the south. Once he got onto aljunied rod, i knew where we were heading...
And i was right!
Dear booked a room at Rasa Sentosa!But the biggest surprise was when we took out our bags, dear did not have any! when i asked, he just showed me the hotel card! Which means he checked in earlier! but he was with me the whole day! which means.... he checked in on Fri!!
At tis point, i was just following dear with a stunned look on my face, realisation just dawning to me...Dear bluffed me to believe that fri he had a customer visit in the afternoon when actually he took half day!!! but he was so careful about it that i did not suspect at alll.for surprising me like that, full marks dear! he was so cute.... he forgot that i was going to his house on fri night, so after check in, he had to bring back the few things that i would notice missing back to his house!he even planned down to the tiniest detail of bringing his work bag wen picking me on fri!!
Had to wait ouside the room for a while while dear prepared something.
Did not know what to expect but i can hear our song " like a ose" playing softly in the background and finally i saw...

a whole box cover filled with sweet popurri (please note wen i say box cover)
Rest and relaxed til evening time before we go on our dinner date...

ok, this location C took me by surprise... i sortof guessed the location but not the restaurant.. i thought dear would choose a ambience type of place where food is served on tiny places but i was wrong.. but it all worked out good... had a hearty meal that we finished in an hour!
Good food....
it was drizzling,but nevertheless we took a walk after dinner.
Stadium waterfront was the first place where we first kissed and coming back here brings lots of memories...
Our bridge where we shared our first kiss 7 1/2 years ago...
it was drizzling so there was not many pple...
at this time, i noticed dear looking at his watch more frequently.. i thought that he was waiting for someone or someting to appear....so when we walkd over to the side of the river, i started looking at buildings... afterwhich dear suddenly asked me to look up to see the stars...
i said" but there are no stars... raining so too cloudy"
He said" but i see 3 stars in a row" and he held up a ring....
He said" when i bought this ring, i asked the salesgirl what is the difference between the celestial and normal solitaire and she told me that celestial was unique and special and no one can copy it.You are just like the celestial,unique, i know there is nothing i can say that is sweeter than the follwoing words.."
He got down on one knee and asked" will you marry me?"
i said coyly "see first" and smiled
After a moment, i said yes.....and he slipped it onto my finger... perfect fit..
My engagement ring-the past, the present and the future with him all linked
the spot where we got engaged...
with the excitement, i was not expecting anything else, but dear had one more up his sleeve!
After going back to the hotel room, he presented to me a coverless box (Now you know why i asked you to take note earlier? Silly me believed him when he said that he had alot of boxes at home..
In the box, had the diamond ring's box,the certificate and a mgnifying glass to see the starburst effect in the diamond.
It also had a declaration of love from dear where he signed and i had to as well.
Had brides' and home decor magazines for us to plan for the future.
Also had aprons and 2 oven mitts... Dear said" so that next time you bake, i can help bake too"
aint he the best.. i melted at his words...i made him wear the apron and mittens!
With this ring, our love continues...
